Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must be capable of assisting with all phases of both residential and light commercial work including the following: install and weld copper, install VRF systems, set metal duct work, refrigeration piping, setting equipment, low voltage wiring, start-up procedures to building code.
  • Achieve customers' preferred environmental conditions by installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
  • Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment as required in the vehicle.
  • Receive, verify, and load all equipment and materials needed for each job.
  • Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.
  • Wear proper PPE at all times and comply with all safety standards and processes.
  • Identify and report to Management all potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services)

 Skills

  • Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
  • One or more years’ experience in installation of all HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.

 Additional Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Valid social security number
  • Must be able to pass drug test(s) as required by company
  • Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces.
  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules
  • Maintain accurate time records and send to payroll when required
  • Neat, professional appearance
