WorkSteer is Hiring Shop Pump Mechanics!

Pay: $25 - $33 DOE / Local / Benefits
Hours: Full Time / Monday – Friday (8–10 hour day shifts)

Job Description:
WorkSteer is seeking dependable Shop Pump Mechanics for full-time positions in Salt Lake City. This hands-on role focuses on repairing and maintaining rotating equipment such as process pumps, liquid ring vacuum pumps, valves, and air blowers. Additional duties may include sandblasting, painting, coating, and preparing equipment for delivery.

Applicants must have mechanical experience, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and work as part of a team. Basic computer and tablet skills are required for recording work performed and maintaining accurate job records.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 1+ year mechanic experience in rotating equipment

• Mechanical certification preferred, but not required

• Basic computer and tablet skills

• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with clean driving record

• Ability to pass background and drug screening

• Physically able to stand for extended periods, use hands, and lift up to 50 lbs

• Excellent communication skills, team mindset, and a strong work ethic

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8–10 hour shifts (with overtime availability)

• Monday to Friday

• Day shift
