The pay range for this position is $27.40-$36.59 paid hourly, offers will be based on the successful candidate's experience.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• Completed technical training relevant to the field.
• Experience in construction inspection and materials testing with the ability to observe work adhering to applicable contract plans and specifications, complete and concise daily field inspection reports, and may require nationally recognized certification (i.e.: NICET, ACT, AWS, ASNT [NDT], etc.) and/or following certifications:
• ACI Level I Technician (ACI) 
• Nuclear Gauge Safety Certification 
• ICC Reinforced Concrete (ICC) 
• ICC Structural Steel (ICC) 
• ICC Reinforced Masonry (ICC) 
• ICC Fireproofing (ICC) 
• AWS/CWI 
• CalTrans Certifications (both field and lab)  
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in fieldwork or a related area.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic knowledge of safety practices and procedures in fieldwork environments.
• College in progress

Preferred Skills 

• This position requires fieldwork, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment as needed.
