Job Brief.
Our team is looking for a VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) Coordinator to integrate digital technologies and processes into our construction projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The projects you will be involved with may include Wastewater and Water Treatment | Army Corps of Engineers | NAVFAC | Pipeline and Airfield Fueling | Commercial and Industrial Construction and Renovation | Design-Build, Construction-Manager-At-Risk, and Design-Bid-Build. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project teams to optimize project efficiency, improve communication, and enhance overall project outcomes. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, project management skills, and a passion for innovation in the construction industry.

Core Areas of Responsibility.
- Support the implementation of VDC processes and technologies on construction projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement BIM (Building Information Modeling) strategies.
- Generate and manage 3D models, clash detection, and coordination activities.
- Facilitate coordination meetings and resolve conflicts in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to project teams, both in the office and on the jobsite, on VDC tools and processes.
- Monitor project progress and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging VDC technologies and best practices.
Skills You Possess.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certifications such as CM-BIM (Certified Manager of Building Information Modeling) or equivalent are a plus.
- Familiarity with surveying, reality capture (drones, laser scanners, etc.), and/or field layout practices is a plus.
- Ability to support multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate in a positive & helpful manner.
- Ability to support coordination meetings.
