Job Title: Night Shift Plumbing Supervisor

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 1:45 PM – 12:00 AM (occasional overtime required)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Night Shift Plumbing Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess a strong plumbing background, work well with others, and demonstrate leadership skills while actively working with their tools. This role requires overseeing plumbing operations, tracking onsite due dates, and driving productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate night shift plumbing operations while actively engaging in hands-on work.
• Ensure all plumbing installations and fabrications meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Track onsite due dates and productivity metrics to maintain efficiency.
• Read and interpret drawings, including fabrication plans.
• Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipes using hand and power tools, including pipe-threading and pipe-bending machines.
• Fabricate and install piping systems, including PVC, cast iron, and copper piping.
• Use tooling to cut steel pipe for sleeves and groove steel and copper pipes.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts and cutting tools safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to support a diverse team.

 

Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (experience may be considered in lieu of education).
• Strong plumbing background with hands-on experience in pipe fabrication and installation.
• Ability to read and understand plumbing drawings and blueprints.
• Experience in handling and prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.
• Comfortable using a computer and iPad (training can be provided).
• Must be able to lift between 5-70 lbs frequently, with or without assistance.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, climb, and remain in static positions for extended periods.
• Must interface effectively, ethically, and professionally with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred but not required.
• Experience operating forklifts and other relevant machinery.
