Line Cook Responsibilities

Come to work in proper uniform - chef coat, pants, nonslip shoes

Check in and sign for food deliveries when necessary

Put away all received items properly and in their proper place

Keep all prep items labeled and rotated

Maintain organization in walk-in and dry storage

Maintain a sanitary work area

Clean all sinks and work surfaces after use

Dismantle and clean slicer after use

Follow recipes/ask for recipes if needed

Follow instructions for proper use of equipment

No storage of personal food of drinks on work station as per health department

Use of sanitizer bucket as per health Department

Clean work area after shift/floor swept/all personal food or drink thrown out

Dispose of all cigarettes on ground outside of building into garbage or designated receptacle during breaks

Any instructions by Executive Chef, General Manager, Pastry Chef or Assistant General Manger

Change foil on equipment on a bi-weekly basis

Sweep, mop, scrub floor after closing

Scrub and sanitize cutting boards at the end of shift
