The Washington Pavilion is seeking a summer Social Media Intern to work closely with our Retail Operations Manager as we prepare to open our new Retail Store in the Steel District of Downtown Sioux Falls. This exciting opportunity will allow the intern to work in a fast-paced team environment, finishing the internship having gained broad exposure and experience. Hours are approximately 15 hours/week depending on department needs and activities.
This is a paid internship at $13/hr
What you get to do!
- Assist in promoting brand awareness through social media content
- Help photograph new product for the stores website and social media
- Create engaging and visually appealing content for various social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook
- Assist in updating website with fresh content, and product information
- Work with team members to brainstorm innovative ideas on store events
- Help on sales floor as needed
- Assist in store visual merchandising
Experience we prefer!
- Junior or senior year college student majoring in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Graphic Design, Business, or related field required.
- Detail oriented, accurate
- Effective and efficient at coordinating projects and staying on track
- Experience with photography is helpful but not required
- Creative, graphic design experience helpful but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
