This position will report to the Marketing Department. Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal is interested in the student’s development, as well as giving the opportunity to work in a real business environment within the Construction Industry. This student should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform research and analysis using customer database and the internet
• Assist in the development of company marketing collateral
• Assist in the development and coordination of company events
• Assist in updating company website, newsletters, and articles.
• Provide support to social media and public relations efforts Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
• Other marketing related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program majoring in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Business
• Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be detail oriented and exhibit strong organizational and time management skills
• Should possess the ability to work successfully with all levels of management
• The ability to work in a team as well as independently
• The ability to conduct oneself professionally in a business setting
• Must maintain a professional business appearance
• Knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, InDesign, and Photoshop is a plus
• Knowledge of social media-Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook is preferred.
