We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Sanders Brothers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about marketing, construction, possess a solid understanding of various marketing channels, have a track record of creating and implementing successful marketing strategies in order to promote Sanders Brothers and what we have to offer as a company. This role will involve activities away from a traditional office such as recruiting events, school programs, visits to construction sites with the objective to help build content in promotion of the company's values and image. Sanders Brothers is a locally owned and operated heavy civil construction company founded in 1962. We have more than 300 construction specialists working across the Charleston metro area.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive marketing plans aligned with company objectives
- Execute and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels
- Generate engaging and relevant content for online and offline platforms
- Manage and update the company's website, blog, and social media profiles
- Collaborate with members of other departments to produce compelling company content
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities
- Analyze behaviors and adjust marketing strategies accordingly
- Maintain and enhance the company's brand image
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing materials
- Identify opportunities to promote the Sanders Brothers' brand
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns
- Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations
- Coordinate with HR department for recruiting events, company social activities, charity events, company meetings, etc.
- Assist in building employee recognition program
- Assist in building trades campaign for local educators/schools
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 3 years of proven experience in marketing roles (preferred)
- Computer savvy with Microsoft and Google platforms
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation
- Proficient in marketing analytics tools
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other creative tools is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas
- Willingness to spend time on construction job sites obtaining content and interacting with employees
