Carlson Construction, a full-service design/build, general contracting, and construction management firm currently has an accounting assistant opportunity for a highly motivated, results driven individual in its Joliet, IL office. The company serves a diverse client base of multi-family developers, big box retailers, Municipal agencies, and institutional clients on a nationwide platform. The essential duties of this position include:
• Engaging with all financial activities and supporting the CFO 
• Supporting and engaging with project managers 

A highly qualified candidate will meet the following requirements: 
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with high levels of detail
• Computer skills: proficiency utilizing Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Able to make effective and intelligent decisions in a fast pace environment
• Able to organize, plan & manage multiple activities concurrently
• Must understand the difference between activity and results
