HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT 

  • You'll maintain and repair automation cells, injection molding machines, test equipment, and support equipment.  
  • Program changes to existing equipment as needed to adapt to new product lines.
  • Develop new methods of accomplishing tasks, integrating, and applicating new methods and ideas. 
  • Work in a team environment with related internal departments and external customers in order to provide superior customer satisfaction 
  • Perform preventive maintenance on automation cells, machines, and equipment as needed. 
  • Trouble shoot and repair of machinery and aux equipment as needed in a timely manner to reduce downtime. 
  • Maintain, install, and replace automation systems and check the efficiency of this equipment. 
  • Assist with the development of new automation processes. 
  • Document all work in the computerized maintenance management system. 
  • Maintain all electronic backups of robot and injection molding machine parameters and programs. 
  • Identify and correct machine guarding safety issues with molding machine and robot cells. 

YOUR KEY ATTRIBUTES 

  • You have a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent); an Associate Degree or higher in Electronics Engineering or Electro Mechanical is highly desired 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with automation, robotics, PLC troubleshooting / programming, communications protocols. 
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repair of all plant pneumatics, hydraulics, electric systems including the ability to connect to programmable logic control (PLC) systems 
  • Hands on experience with Yaskawa Robots, Rockwell Controls, Cognex Vision, and Keyence Vision preferred. 
  • Experience in the injection molding field with Haitian, Nissei, Demag, Molding Machines preferred. 
  • Above average computer skills. 
  • Strong ability to work with PLC’s, HMI’s, VFD’s, Vision Systems, to include set up, programming, troubleshooting, and repair of these systems. 
  • Ability to travel as necessary for business purposes.
