As a Concrete Finisher, you've had experience in the concrete industry: driving and operating heavy equipment and building and setting forms. You know what it takes to get a job done, and you've worked on teams to build all kinds of concrete projects for both residential and commercial customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Dependable
  • At least 2-3 years of experience building and setting forms, setting rebar and utilizing various concrete finishing tools
  • Class D driver’s license w/insurable driving record
  • Responsible
  • Positive attitude
  • Comfortable using smartphone and other technology
  • Good communication skills
  • Willing to learn
  • Work well in a team environment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Heavy equipment operation
  • Class A CDL with air-brake endorsement
  • Driving dump trucks and other Class A combination vehicles
  • ACI Finisher Certification a plus

This position involves a variety of tasks involving manual labor in the preparation for pouring concrete all the way to the cleanup of the finished projects. Concrete finishers get to enjoy the outdoors while getting to operate the latest technology in our industry. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds may be required in order to complete some tasks. This is a year-round position that does participate in snow removal duties during the winter months. Work is done outdoors, so must dress for the conditions. Hours average around 50+ during the construction season with several opportunities for overtime.
