We are an automotive manufacturing company located in Middle Tennessee, and we provide interior and exterior automotive and electronics lighting solutions – both traditional and new concepts that we are excited to design and make! 

We are developing new technologies which help drive the future of electric vehicles, including charge status indicators as well as using light in new ways to improve safety and design. 

Now we are looking for you to join our team as a Quality Manager!

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Lead Quality Department consisting of 6 salaried and 6 hourly employees.
  • Establish quality standards for new product launches to meet customer timing, quality, and product reliability requirements.
  • Develop quality processes and procedures to meet customer and plant requirements of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections to strengthen quality management system and support requirements of IATF 16949.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain calibration of gauging and test equipment and their utilization strategy for new and existing products to assure continued product conformance to internal and external customer specifications.
  • Implement robust corrective and preventative actions
  • Strengthen customer confidence by supporting quality surveys, audits, warranty support, customer line rejects and other product related concerns.
  • Monitor and report out performance including cost of poor quality.
  • All other assignments deemed necessary while under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations.

YOUR KEY ATTRIBUTES

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related degree (or an equivalent amount of years quality assurance management experience)
  • You have at least 5+ years of progressively increasing responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.
  • You have an understanding of general business concepts and company operations on order to manage functions and meet objectives.
  • You have strong human relations skills to implement ideas and actions associated with improvement.
  • You are skilled in statistical analysis methods, process, and product knowledge.
  • You have a strong technical background, along with leadership and managerial skills required to effectively communicate the utilization of tools to others throughout the factory.
  • Your Key Strengths include problem solving, follow through, and high attention to detail.
