Mechanical Engineering at VAA
The Mechanical team designs material handling, process ventilation and building safety systems, process and utility piping and heat exchangers, and building HVAC and plumbing systems for agribusiness, industrial and commercial facilities.
Your role:
- Strong engineering analysis and judgment combined with a basic knowledge of applicable codes.
- Experience with the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical utility systems.
- HVAC load, pump sizing, and related engineering calculations.
- Engineering software proficiency, such as CHVAC Elite, Trane, Tracer, AFT Fathom or similar.
- Design and construction knowledge / experience.
- Ability to select appropriate mechanical systems in coordination with vendors.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of Revit preferred.
Your resume must include:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Five to seven years of engineering experience in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical utility systems design and construction.
