ColWill Engineering Technology, Inc. division is looking for a highly motivated Low-Voltage Electrical Helper in the Tampa, FL area to join our team.

We are currently offering a competitive pay range for this full-time position, Monday through Friday. (In-person)

What this Role will Do:

Low Voltage Electrical Helpers will work with a lead installer executing projects as directed by Project Managers and project documents. These projects include Fire Alarm, Access Control, Security System, IP Video Surveillance, and Sound Systems in commercial new construction and retro fit environments (non-residential).

Role Responsibilities:

  •  Assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
  • Perform basic low voltage electrical tasks under the supervision of a licensed electrician
  • Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and making necessary repairs
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations
  • Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Assist in the installation of wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures
  • Help with the preparation of materials and tools needed for electrical projects
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
