As a Job Coach, you will work within our adult day program located in Mt. Holly, Burlington County NJ.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm; 30 minute unpaid lunch

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate work readiness and provide vocational training and programming for Partial Care consumer
  • Plan and monitor the overall vocational schedule
  • Provide Vocational related groups and individual vocational assistance for consumers
  • Transport consumers to and from work site
  • Provide Advocacy and case management services on behalf of consumers
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to insure completion of all work contracts
  • Maintain consumer records, including weekly progress notes
  • Be available to consumers and staff on a 24 hour basis during emergencies
  • Attend courses with Integrated Employment Institute

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors (BA/BS) degree in Psychology and one (1) year's experience in providing services such as supportive employment or job coaching, vocational evaluation, welfare to work, community rehabilitation services, transitional employment, or other work experience programs for consumers and recent relevant training or possess one of the following: certified rehabilitation counselor, licensed rehabilitation counselor, master's or bachelor's degree in rehabilitation counseling,
  • Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner, or vocational instructor as defined by the NJ State Board of Education;
  • Ability to drive a 15 passenger van as needed;
  • Valid Driver's License required.
