POSITION SUMMARY:

Air Force One is looking for a talented Intern to assist our Marketing and Communications Manager in creating a powerful, memorable digital presence. The time commitment for this role will be approximately 15-25 hours per week. The ideal candidate will come to the role with interest in mechanical contracting, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least two years complete towards earning a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Director of Marketing by bringing ideas and concepts to life through Graphic Design and other visual tools.
• Create compelling graphic design content for social media, blogs, landing pages, email campaigns, and other digital distribution to promote ideas, products, or services.
• Assist with the creation and editing of written content for blogs, award applications, presentations, social media posts, external newsletters, and other marketing materials.
• Monitor various social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
• Assist in maintaining an internal editorial calendar
• Research appropriate corporate award opportunities & coordinate submissions
• Assist in analyzing results of all campaigns and programs
• Must be self-motivated, have good organizational skills, be detail-oriented, have the ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Familiar with MailChimp and other email campaign platforms
• Support the team with other marketing and administrative tasks as required.
• Performs other duties as requested by Marketing and Communications Manager.
