Job Description:

We are a large professional HVAC company looking for an individual that has the experience and skill-set

in Manufacturing Production Scheduling (MPS). This is not an entry level position. We are seeking an

individual that will be able to help set up, implement and operate day-to-day operations of a new

production scheduling system.

Job Duties:

Schedule production orders, work orders, generate routing tickets for process and distribute order

forms for Shop fabrication and order picking for material inventory processing. It is required to interact

with all of the different departments on production scheduling, work orders, and working with the

Shipping and Purchasing departments ensuring timely deliveries to jobsites for critical installation

schedules. Also required is to monitor inventory levels, do monthly cycle counting activities, and a biyearly

physical inventory count. All are necessary for the creation of on-time production schedules.


Must have:

· Good math skills and an understanding of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP).

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in order to communicate with

appropriate personnel.

· Critical thinking skills, with the ability to categorize, prioritize, and communicate information

from multiple sources in a fast paced environment.

· Computer proficiency, using Microsoft Windows operating systems up-to and including

Windows 10.

· Application proficiency, Microsoft Office software including MSMail, MSWord and Excel

Spreadsheet for creating charts and data tables. Form building to create Adobe PDF input forms

for distribution and automated processing. Report generating using Crystal Reports Writer for

generating custom reports.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not necessary. Experience in production control, planning, inventory

control and materials for the production scheduling.
