Woodinville Wa. based Earthwork and Utility Company looking for an experienced Civil estimating assistant to fill a full-time position.

General Duty;

  • Complete earthwork and utility take-offs for projects the company is bidding. Enter the results of those take-offs into estimating software for review by Estimator.

Specific Duties;

  • Work hand in hand with estimators to perform take-offs, create RFP’s for subcontractors and request supplier proposals.
  • Complete work in the sequence of bid due dates.
  • Load all take-off quantities, earthwork quantities, and supplier quotes into estimating software.

Skills and Attributes Required;

  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience as an earthwork and utility estimating assistant.
  • Must be a Team player that thrives in a Team environment.
  • Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe PDF and Bluebeam)
  • HeavyBid software experience is a major plus.
  • Agtek software experience is a major plus.
  • Effective communicator with co-workers.
  • Respectful to clients, co-workers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Self-Motivated
  • Must pass Drug Test

 

Wage: Based on experience level.
