Woodinville Wa. based Earthwork and Utility Company looking for an experienced Civil estimating assistant to fill a full-time position.
General Duty;
- Complete earthwork and utility take-offs for projects the company is bidding. Enter the results of those take-offs into estimating software for review by Estimator.
Specific Duties;
- Work hand in hand with estimators to perform take-offs, create RFP’s for subcontractors and request supplier proposals.
- Complete work in the sequence of bid due dates.
- Load all take-off quantities, earthwork quantities, and supplier quotes into estimating software.
Skills and Attributes Required;
- Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience as an earthwork and utility estimating assistant.
- Must be a Team player that thrives in a Team environment.
- Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe PDF and Bluebeam)
- HeavyBid software experience is a major plus.
- Agtek software experience is a major plus.
- Effective communicator with co-workers.
- Respectful to clients, co-workers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Self-Motivated
- Must pass Drug Test
Wage: Based on experience level.
